BUILDING USE AND PASSENGER MOVEMENT

Passenger elevator

Plan a lift around the people who will use it and the journeys they make between floors. Tan Long supplies and installs passenger lifts; the building information and intended use provide the starting point for a project proposal.

Discuss your passenger lift project

Describe everyday use

Tell us what the building is used for, who will use the lift and which floors need to be served. Describe the busiest periods and how people arrive at and leave each landing. These details help the team understand the requirement before discussing a configuration.

If the project needs to accommodate wheelchairs, pushchairs or other mobility needs, include them in the enquiry so that access and the available space can be reviewed. Cabin dimensions, entrances and the proposed arrangement need to be confirmed for the actual project.

Bring the building information

  • Project location, building use and whether it is a new building or an existing property.
  • Number of stops, the floors to be served and the expected pattern of use.
  • Available plans, shaft and landing drawings, or photographs of the intended location.
  • Access requirements and preferences for cabin finishes, lighting and landing entrances.

Share the drawings you already have and identify information that is still being developed. The project review can then establish what needs to be clarified before a quotation is prepared.

Explore the relevant product information

For residential projects, start with the home-lift groups. Cabin and landing-door pages provide information for discussing the interior and entrances.

Discuss the configuration and quotation

Send your project brief through the English contact page. Capacity, cabin and door dimensions, equipment, finishes, installation scope and service terms are confirmed in the proposal for the project concerned.

For drawings or supporting documents relating to a proposed model, use the project document enquiry page and include the equipment reference.
